went down to the cemetary, had to explain this is where gdad and nanas bodies are now, as we got back in the car zeke asks " is grandfather dieded? i said yes "did he get dooosheded?" oh dear! and since we have been home i hung a pic up that gandfather gave me and explained to rubes, he says" well next time we go to NZ we will have to say thank you to gfather" i said but he is dead remember and the reply " yes i know mum but when we go visit his box inthe groud!!!!" gotta love them!

on zekes actual birthday birthday we had dinner at pete and janes, harry took the kids for a ride!

i put together HEAPS of flower bunches because mums graden was soooo lovely andi had forgotten how nice it is to have picking flowers all over the place!

So i think i turned crazy when i decided to take the kids by myself to NZ for 2 weeks for zeke and mums birthdays!
anyway, we had a lovely time, the first few days were freezing and then it was wonderful weather the whole rest of the time, lots of fantastic playing outside weather! Also i havent been home in spring for years and it was SO LOVELY to see all the gardens in their first flush and everything looking so fresh and green!!
Looking thru the photos it looks like all we did was go to parks and eat and take pics of flowers!!!
Merle, lew jess and steve came down too which was SUPER AWESOME! Saw heaps of lex ans isaac too which was also THE BEST!
