well......

i went on the biggest shoppping spree of my life today, however i managed not to spend the most ammount of money in my life so quite a nice combonation really!!!

heres the last few days, we have helena and bracken back with us for a bit which is awesome! last night we went out and stayed with dustan morrison at his little farm for the night, got back this morning so that was neat, made us wish we could live out there too! poor bracken thought it was fantastic and was very reluctant to get back in the car knowing he was coming back to the city!!!

we had decided to go away for the weekend before i even knew i had my surgery but we decided to go anyway! thanks to jay nick and mel, I really didnt do tooooo much and we had fun and the kids were.... ok!
It was a pretty nice place we stayed, perfect for 2 familes with 2 queen rooms and 1 with 2 singles in it. 2.5 bathrooms and a nice big living space, if it had been sunnier and warmer there was even a nice big deck but we kinda holed up inside with the heater on for most of the time!

It was a very peasent surprise to find out beth and dave were totally by coincidence also staying in kingscliff for the weekend so both nights we ended up having dinner together!

i have shamelessly stolen mels pics as well cos i didnt get as many as usually seeing as i wasnt quite up and round like i would usually be! would have liked to be able to go for some more walks or bike rides but my pace was like a snails and even then only if i was dosed up good and proper!!!grrrr!!! mel and i have scoped out another block of apartments by the same group that has a lagoon pool and its even nicer that we may well go back to! yay! this one had facillities but they were down the road not just right there!
