Bay of Islands

well what to say about our holiday up north.........?

the wedding was BEAUTIFUL, the weather not too hot and not to cold, had fun on the various movable transport vehicles around boundry waters, great times out on the boat, diving, fishing caught some awesome snapper, tasted great too!
the kids ran round all day and the 4 wee boys got on very nicely.

saw some great sights beautiful landscapes, sailboats, you name it.....
the boys all got up early and drove the boat back down to auckland, they had a bbq lunch on teh boat and saw some great caves, flying fish, played chicken with flocks of birds, 'swam' with dolphins and even saw some whales!!!

next stage of the trip to come.... auckland and taupo coming up folks...........
have to do this in between feeds and naps!!!

Auckland

then we went onto auckland. we stayed there for a few days before we went up to the bay of islands!

The most memorable part of this trip was finding out rubes gets carsick!!! GREAT! meant it took us 9 whole hours to get to auckland instead of round about 7!!! poor rubes had less and less to cover him as we went on seeing as everything was packed so carefully we couldnt get anything out! first time it was his clothes, next spew he lost the carseat cover and even the blankets and pooch! fanflippingtastic! specially with 4 kids in the car! Zeke was amazing and didnt even complian about the very long 4 hour waits between feeds!!

jay entertained the kids well in auckland with lews sand buggy which he some how got down to the beach and even more amazingly pushed back up the enormous hill with both the kids in it!!!

Masterton

so....

heres the begining of our hoilday at mum and dads house in masterton.
Isaac has been here the whole time also and he a rubes have been having huge fun mucking round together.
as you can see we have done some interesting things like build ramps for the kids to ride down on their bikes, go for walks with 3 kids, one pram, one pouch, one bikes, two adults..... quite the performance to get organised!
Zeke and rubes both had colds, so did we but we didnt get to whinge about it!!
Also had the family christmas which was alot of fun too, and all the little boys got totally spoilt!!

jay caught up with his old mate tristan and went for a moto ride out at riversdale beach.

NZ

well its been ages, had had slow computer probs and then been SOOOOOOO busy that ive had no time to get any pics organised and on here!
anyway, up north was awesome, we've had great weather and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL!!! kids having huge fun mucking round together.
heading back to mum and dads tomorrow, a night in taupo tomorrow to break the trip up as we have found out rubes gets car sick! ick!!!!

heres a few pics to update, zeke is starting to smile and 'talk' its so cute! he is also a little boombablatala now while rubes has lost more weight thanks to a vomiting bug which kept the whole house up all night execpt for zeke who slept on thru!!!
